The Roaring 20s Art Deco Mystery Mail Club
Twelve months of carefully crafted content — hand-painted, hand-packed, and posted to your door. With an intriguing mystery running throughout the season....
Do you love all things 1920s?
So do I! I love Art Deco, flappers, vintage Jazz music and dance, the Charleston, and early Hollywood. Clara Bow - the original "It Girl", Louise Brooks and that bob, Josephine Baker - the greatest Charleston dancer who ever lived. Fred Astaire, who danced with his sister Adele long before he danced with Ginger. And Ginger Rogers, who won a Charleston contest in 1925 and turned it into a career.
Every month you’ll receive an envelope with my artistic spin on the culture, music, dance, fashion and history of the 1920s and the early 1930s. The events, the discoveries, the fads and the gloriously strange celebrities of a hundred years ago, with a little humour thrown in.

Season 1
The Mysterious Disappearance of Flapper Dimples Dupree
Do you love a good mystery — the golden age of detective fiction, a smoke-filled speakeasy, with a hint of Egyptology?
Dimples Dupree was a Charleston dancer. In the spring of 1926 she walked out of a New York club and vanished into the ether. Across twelve scenes you'll get the clues you need to solve the mystery!
Along the way you’ll meet a cast of thoroughly quirky prohibition characters — their lingo, their rackets, from one of the most unique eras in history.
In the twelfth scene, a hard-boiled private eye gathers every last suspect at Small’s Paradise up in Harlem and unpicks the whole swinging plot — the twists, the motive, and the truth about the mysterious disappearance of Dimples Dupree.
Can you solve the mystery before our detective does? Join the club and find out!

Delivery
Allow 3–5 working days for delivery in the UK and up to a fortnight everywhere else. Cancel whenever you like. Your twelve editions run in order from the day you join, and the subscription ends with Edition Twelve and the final solution to our season 1 mystery!
A note for visitors in the European Union
Unfortunately I’m not able to post to the EU yet. New customs rules came in across the EU in July 2026, and under them every envelope would reach you with import VAT and a handling charge attached, not as a one off but every single month for a year. I’m not willing to send somebody a small monthly pleasure with a surcharge attached.
I’m working on the paperwork to hopefully resolve this. Send me an email and I’ll let you know the moment it opens — you’ll hear before anybody else. This doesn't affect any countries outside of the EU including the UK.
Questions
When will my first envelope arrive?
Within a few days of joining. Edition One goes out within 48 hours of your signing up — you won’t wait for the first of the month.
I’ve joined late. Do I get the mystery from the beginning?
Yes. Everyone starts at Edition One, whenever they join.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account. You’ll receive whatever you’ve already paid for and nothing after.
What happens after twelve editions?
Your subscription ends with Edition Twelve and the solution — a complete year, not an open-ended commitment. If there’s a second year, you’ll be the first to hear.
Do you post internationally?
Yes! The postage differs by where you live and you’ll see it at checkout. The one exception at the moment is the European Union; see the note above.
I’m in the European Union — can I join the club?
Not yet, and I’m really sorry about that. Email me and you’ll be first to know when it opens. My prints, meanwhile, ship to the EU perfectly happily — they’re printed locally rather than posted.
Is any of the artwork AI or computer generated?
No. Every image is painted by hand — no AI, no computer-generated art. What arrives is a printed reproduction of something I actually made.
