Do you love all things 1920s?
I do too! I love Art Deco, flappers, vintage Jazz music and dance, the Charleston, and early Hollywood. Clara Bow - the original "It Girl", Louise Brooks and that bob, Josephine Baker - the greatest Charleston dancer who ever lived. Fred Astaire, who danced with his sister Adele long before he danced with Ginger. And Ginger Rogers, who won a Charleston contest in 1925 and turned it into a career.
Every month you'll receive an envelope with my artistic spin on the culture, music, dance, fashion and history of the 1920s and 1930s. The events, the discoveries, the fads and the gloriously strange celebrities of a hundred years ago, with a little humour thrown in.

Series One
The Mysterious Disappearance of Dimples Dupree
Do you love a good mystery — the golden age of detective fiction, a smoke-filled speakeasy, with a hint of Egyptology?
Dimples Dupree is a chorus girl at Smalls Paradise in New York. In the spring of 1926 she walks out of the club and vanishes into thin air. Across twelve scenes you'll get the clues you need to solve the mystery!
Along the way you'll meet a cast of thoroughly quirky prohibition characters who represent the culture, lingo and idiosyncrasies of one of the most unique eras in history.
In the twelfth scene, our private eye gathers every last suspect at Smalls Paradise up in Harlem and unpicks the whole swinging plot of Series One — the twists, the motive and the truth about the mysterious disappearance of Dimples Dupree.
And when the case is closed? Series Two follows straight on with a brand-new mystery, so your roaring 20s dispatches keep coming!

Delivery
Allow 3–5 working days for delivery in the UK and up to a fortnight everywhere else. Cancel whenever you like.
When will my first envelope arrive?
Subscriptions are shipped out in the first week of each month for subscribers who have joined before the 20th of the previous month. For example, if you join the club before the 20th of October, your envelope will be shipped out in the first week of November.
I've joined after the club has started. Do I get the mystery clues from the beginning?
Yes. You'll receive the upcoming month's subscription depending on when you join, but the mystery clues will start from scene one, so no spoilers!
What happens after the mystery is solved?
Your membership carries straight on into Series Two: a brand-new mystery, new characters and more dispatches from the roaring 20s!
Can I pause my membership?
Yes. In your account, open Mail Club and press Pause a month on any upcoming payment, once for each month you'd like off. You won't be charged or sent an envelope that month, and your next scene simply waits for you. Need a longer break? Pause indefinitely stops everything until you press Resume.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account. You'll receive whatever you've already paid for and nothing after.
Do you post internationally?
Yes! Postage is included in the UK and the US. Everywhere else, it's added at checkout. Please note the additional import costs for delivery to the European Union; see below.
I live in the European Union. Is there anything extra to pay?
New customs rules came in across the EU in July 2026, and under them every month's subscription would reach you with import VAT and a handling charge attached, which you'd be responsible for paying on delivery. The amount depends on your country's rates. If the import charges aren't paid, the envelope is returned to us and we can't refund or resend it.
This doesn't affect any countries outside the EU, including the UK.
Is any of the artwork AI or computer generated?
No. Every image is painted by hand — no AI, no computer-generated art. What arrives is a printed reproduction of something I crafted for you by hand.
