The Mystery Mail Club

What is the Mystery Mail Club?

A monthly envelope from the Roaring Twenties, posted by Denise from the UK: a hand-crafted letter, a limited-edition print of her artwork, a surprise gift and the next scene of a 1920s mystery. See what's inside.

When will my first envelope arrive?

Envelopes go out in the first week of each month. Join before the 20th and yours goes out the following month.

I've joined late. Do I miss the start of the mystery?

No. Everyone starts at Scene One, whenever they join, so there are no spoilers.

What happens after the mystery is solved?

Your membership carries straight on into Series Two: a brand-new mystery, new characters and more envelopes, with no need to sign up again.

Can I pause my membership?

Yes. In your account, open Mail Club and press Pause a month on any upcoming payment, once for each month you'd like off. You won't be charged or sent an envelope that month, and your next scene simply waits for you. Need a longer break? Pause indefinitely stops everything until you press Resume.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your account or the link in any Club email. You'll receive whatever you've already paid for and nothing after.

Orders & Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Prints are made to order at the production facility nearest to you, so most orders ship from within your own region. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout.

How are the prints made?

Every print is reproduced from one of Denise's original paintings using 12-colour giclée fine art printing on quality paper — made to order, so there's no warehouse and no waste.

Can I buy a print framed?

Yes — every print can be ordered unframed, or framed in white, natural wood, dark wood or black. Choose the option you want on the product page.

When will my order arrive?

Made-to-order prints typically take 2–5 business days in production, plus delivery. You'll receive tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

Fine Art

I love the art — can I own an original?

Some originals are available from time to time. Email denise@denisesteele.com to ask about a particular painting.

Do you take commissions?

Denise has taken commissions in the past, but is currently focused on the Frankie Project. She's always happy to discuss, though — email denise@denisesteele.com.

Dance

What forms of dance do you teach?

Denise has trained in many styles but primarily teaches Lindy Hop, 20s Charleston, vernacular jazz, vintage shag, Big Apple and swing blues.

Can I book a private dance lesson?

Of course — Denise loves talking to new students. Email denise@denisesteele.com and she'll discuss your needs.
